Learn the Power of Symbols
There are certain skills that can be learned that will make using the terminal far more effective, easy, and fun. These skills are more advanced then just the tricks and tips you can learn in the tricks section. All of these skills are not necessary, they can be avoided, but they are so easy that learning them will surely make you a better user in more ways then one.
Many of the skills I have included in this list have a similiar reason. Most have a symbol, a special character that means something inside the terminal. They are not commands, but they can redirect input and output and also link or chain multiple commands.
These are the shortcuts you are encouraged to use.
