Jessie Powers - Ned and Lisa Powers had their first child, a baby girl, in the midst of 2007's very busy October.
Stanley Powers - Stan and Jackie Powers had a baby boy early in December 2006. Stanley is named after his father.
Jaquelyn Ann Skelton - Dan and Shawn Skelton had a beautiful baby girl. Danny and Mary Rose are Jaquelyn's older siblings.
Zavey Powers - Roger and Maria Powers had their first baby girl, Zavey Ann Elizabeth Powers. Zavey has three older brothers, Roger, Max, and Jack.

Everyone here at Powers Farm Market would like to wish you a Happy Spring and we hope that you are happy and healthy. We hope that you will be as excited as us to hear that Powers Farm Market is now officially open!
As you may know, this is the earliest opening of Powers Farm Market in recent memory - as this Easter was the earliest in over 90 years! You can expect very fresh baked goods every day. That includes pies,
breads, and cookies. We also have a growing supply of indoor plants and flower bouquets.
Our hours for the month of April will be 9AM to 6PM on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. We will return to our normal hours once the weather straightens out and clears up. comment »
Powers is ready for the holiday season. Outside the market is a great selection of Christmas Trees of all different types and sizes. We have plenty of Fraiser, Balsam, and Douglas trees ready to be selected. We also trim, drill, bag, and load or tie the tree to your car so you can relax and have some hot chocolate sitting by the warmth of the fireplace inside.
Also inside are numerous natural and artificial wreaths with all kinds of decorations that you pick and choose from. You can even design your own wreath if you want a certain style. You may want to ask for details about our cemetery placement service.

October is always an exciting time at Powers Farm Market, and a number of major activities are active right now! The daytime Family Hayrides have started and will continue to run on all October weekends and possibly weekdays after school hours (call ahead to make sure). Also the Haunted TeePee's are decorated and open to the public! Be sure to stop by the petting zoo and feed some of the goats, sheep, or baby deer.
Fresh apple cider from local cider mills have arrived. Make sure to pair them up with the daily fresh donuts or our excellent cookies and pie. In addition to our usual pie choices we also have Grape pies in small and large sizes!
Pumpkins come in 3 varieties. The classical orange, white, and cinderella (red-orange and flat). Our market is currently displaying thousands of pumpkins for you to choose from so you can find the perfect pumpkin for you and your family.
We have plenty of arts and crafts for your Halloween or Seasonal decorations, including bales of straw, corn shocks, Indian corn, and many varieties of gourds.
Lastly the apple season is in full swing and we have a large variety. Most well known are the Honey Crisp, Autumn Crisp, Macintosh, Empire, and Macoun but there are certainly others you may be interested in.

The World's Largest Teepees are up at Powers Farm Market! That is a clear sign that Fall is approaching in Rochester. Our traditional orange and ghostly white pumpkins are finding their way to the market's front porch. Inside you will find silver pennies, gourds, winter squash, and more Fall favorites. comment »
